Get Non Stock Material into Stores

Dear Gurus,

I know it is not possible in standard SAP to GRN non stock (Item Category='N') into stores. it will consume to Maintenance order once GRN.

Is there any work around to avoid directly debiting Maintenance order and get these components into stores and issue to order in later using 261?

Business case is:

Maintenance department orders Non-stock component and they do not consume it. there's no track of these components after GRN , cant re-use either.
